台風でいとこが被害にあった先生と。

いとこは、レスキューされることはなく、上の方の階で過ごしたそうだ。そのうち、台風が過ぎ去り、水もひいたので、なんとかなったそうです。

 I can’t believe it’s been… is used to say how much time has passed since you last saw someone.

I can’t believe it’s been five years! You haven’t changed at all.

3. Remember when someone used to… is used to bring up a memory you share with the person you’re talking to.

Remember when we used to take the long way home from school so we could walk by Andrew’s house?

 for the first time in over 12 years!
