Athletes and Teams

今日は台風で、家の回線が悪いとかで、先生が移動しながらのレッスンとなった。

スマートフォンのテザリングでつないでいるみたいで、あまり通信がよくなく、先生は途中で車を降りて、ショッピングモール的なところからのレッスンとなった。

マニラのビジネス街で、高層ビルなどがあり、きれいなショッピングモールで、マクドナルドもあった。

レアジョブでは、フィリピンで、チューター向けのリアルイベントを毎年開催しているそうだ。今年は無理だそうだが。

前のレッスンの先生とは、このイベントを通して知り合ったそう。

そういうイベントもあるんですね〜。

今日の表現

1. To go downhill means to get progressively worse.

3. To be on a losing/winning streak means that a team or an athlete has lost/won several games in a row.

The Roos are on a winning streak. They won their fourth match in a row last night!
