Political Correctness and Gun Control

19日、20日、21日とレッスンをなんとか続けています。

虫刺されがすごくかゆくて、いろいろ集中できず困っています。虫刺されって、治るまで、かゆみ止めを塗りながら待つしか無い、という理解であっていますでしょうか。

何に刺されたんだろう・・・同じエリアに4箇所くらい等間隔に刺されてしまって、かゆいですね。

さて、21日のパーティピーポーな先生に、逃げ出したウガンダの選手について食い気味に聞かれました。昨日捕まったよ〜といったら、そうかーみたいなやや残念そうでした。応援してたんかな？

しかし、かゆい。

体の痛みもいつもとはちがう、腕の痛みがある。太ももの内側も、いたみがあって。冷房のせいかな。

1. Tolerance is a person’s ability to accept feelings, habits, or beliefs that are different from his/her own.

I don’t have much tolerance for people who think it’s okay to make fun of others for how they look.

A racial slur is a rude remark about someone’s race.

Why does this vlogger have so many followers? He likes to use racial slurs in his videos! It’s horrible.

Josh always jokes about how girls belong in the kitchen. I told him to stop because it’s offensive.

Yeah. Well, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before she says yes. I mean, she seems to like him too.

Gun Control

1. To pose a threat means to potentially cause danger, harm, or injury.

The newly-constructed chemical factory poses a threat to the village’s water supply.

2. Every US citizen has constitutional rights, which are rights given by the US Constitution. The most famous of these rights are freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press.

I have the constitutional right to express my opinion about the current government.

My father always carries a gun because he believes he has the right to bear arms.
